Urban beekeeping

Urban beekeeping in companies

The decline of pollinators is a major problem, and local initiatives are emerging worldwide to try to slow this phenomenon. Among them, an increasingly popular practice for companies is to install beehives on their property, sometimes even on the roof, and to involve their employees and customers in the project.

This is exactly what we offer with our corporate urban beekeeping service. We sell and install beehives directly on organizations' premises, and then our beekeepers ensure their complete management throughout the year, including colony maintenance, health monitoring, harvesting, and risk prevention.

To fully involve the company and its employees, we offer educational and immersive support. Throughout the season, video reports allow for monitoring the interventions carried out on the beehives, while awareness capsules on pollinators and biodiversity enrich the experience.

At the end of the year, the mobile honey house travels directly to the company to offer employees a unique experience. They then participate in the extraction of their own honey, collaborate in bottling, taste different varieties, and can distribute the resulting jars to their colleagues, customers, or a local charity.

This service generates multiple positive benefits. In addition to contributing to biodiversity and participating in the fight against pollinator decline, it helps organizations achieve their eco-responsible certification objectives. It also creates a unifying experience that strengthens employees' sense of belonging and enhances the company's brand image.

NOT FOR EVERYONE

However, this service is not suitable for all situations. In some cases, it is impossible or not recommended to install beehives on a site: space constraints, excessively windy environment, safety concerns, difficult access, or an urban environment already saturated with bees, where adding colonies could harm wild pollinators. In these situations, we offer an alternative: beehive sponsorship. This option allows you to follow, in your name, the evolution of a beehive hosted in our own facilities and to participate, with your teams, in the honey extraction at the end of the season, while remaining concretely committed to pollinators and biodiversity.
